Text Message (SMS) Communications
Duluth Dental Center offers an SMS text messaging program to help patients with appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling changes, office address and directions, account balance notices, and insurance verification. Participation is optional and is never a condition of receiving care or any other service from our practice.
You may opt in by checking the SMS consent box on our website appointment request form or new patient intake paperwork, by giving verbal consent to our staff by phone, or by confirming by email or Facebook Messenger after receiving our SMS disclosure. When you opt in, we send a confirmation text and you reply START to complete enrollment. Consent is never a condition of purchase or of receiving dental services. Message frequency varies depending on your interaction with our office; standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP to any message, or contact us using the information below.
No mobile information, including SMS opt-in consent or phone numbers, is shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Information collected through our SMS program is used solely to communicate with you about your inquiry or appointment and is shared only with service providers (such as our SMS delivery platform) that help us operate that communication, under confidentiality obligations.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. For our full website Terms and Conditions, including SMS program terms, see our Terms and Conditions page.
